Absa is greedy and highly unprofessional!

Absa HOC has a very confused and clueless bunch of employees! Their valuation is probably done from playing monopoly or game of dice. There's no evidence that the info used is from a reliable source! In 2024, I was requested to provide proof of outside cover, which I did (I do this every year by the way). They declined it. Municipal valuation is R1,1M, Absa valuation was R5.4! When I apply to refinance my property, Absa's valuation is R1M though? After a lot of fighting, they accepted by outside cover. This year we are back to square one, Absa now value my property at R4,3M & again refuse my outside cover. This is another way Absa wants to milk me by forcing me to take insurance with them! I won't! If my house had to burn down today, believe me, I am adequately insured. Absa will be paid in full so what is the greed all about!
