Absa is declining Life Policy for My late husband that we took.

Good day, On the 11th December 2018 I lost my husband by the name of Mr Bhekifa Nicholus Zulu. We have Absa Life Policy which we had to go to get our blood tested before they do the policy. Initially II fill all the forms claiming the death policy for my husband and it was declined because Absa said our policy was only covering Accidental Death and physical impairment. After that I wrote to Complaints Resolution Committee to resolve the issue they did not even come back to me because I did attach copies from our Life cover marked for them. On the 15th January 2020 I went to Absa to get working numbers of Complaint Resolution Committee only Absa find out that Life Policy for my husband have been cancelled. January 2020 I wrote a complain to Ombuds for Long term only today they are coming back telling me that Absa is not willing to pay because the policy that we have is only for Accidental Death & physical impairment. They said they did not take our blood test. What I am saying if it was only for Accidental Death and physical impairment why they took our blood now they are saying they did not take our blood of which they are now lying. We had took blood test in Boksburg. In our Absa Life policy it says "In general, the events in respect of which benefits are payable are death, total and permanent disablement, and/or diagnosis of one of the dread diseases listed in your policy". Please urgently help me because it has gone long time now. I thought Ombudsman was going to able to assist me. Absa are lairs that eat people's money if they have to settle they become real ******. Make Absa pay my amount of R454 000.00, they want to be embarrassed with such small amount really . Should you need help please me or send email.

Yours faithfully

Mrs. Phumelele Zulu
