ABSA is charging me R600 for bank charges every single month

I have recently noticed bank charges of over R500 billed monthly on my cheque account. Over and above the fees charged for each transaction. After I started making inquiries about these ridiculous charges. I was told that my account was converted to a pay-as-you-transact account. As far as I am aware the account I opened in 2010 was a cheque account and I was told the monthly fee was around R100 at that time. I've spent hours on the phone with ABSA consultants they weren't able to tell me who authorized the conversion of my account. I was told to go back to N1 city in Cape Town to get answers from Lizelle Biggs. I don't know how am I supposed to do that when I now reside in Johannesburg. I want answers and I want my money back as I am not the 1 who authorized the account to be converted. Who in their right mind would want to be charged per transaction, instead of taking the cheaper options which are fixed charges every month? I need access to the forms that I signed when I opened this account. After all this is solved, I DO NOT want anything to do with Absa. I've had enough of them ripping me off with ridiculous bank charges
