Absa is an age old ****

I canceled my life cover and my funeral cover with absa because they failed to help me when I needed to bury my father. Since I made the call to cancel these policies in October, absa felt they have the authority to do with my account what they want. They didn't process the cancelation of these policies and went ahead with debiting me in November. Not only did they debit! After I had canceled, they debited me on a date I never authorized which is the 11th. Who gave them permission to do with my account what they want? Who gave them authorization to continue debiting me after I requested a cancelation and they claimed it was done. Now I'm in the branch to sort this out and the branch keeps sending me from pillar to post with returning my money. Absa claims they have the right to take money from my account without my permission and then refuse to return it to me when I request it. This bank is seriously a **** and I would not recommend anyone to sign up anything with them. I'd recommend you move your money immediately to a place where they respect you as a client. I will not rest until someone pays for this. These people have gotten away with crime too many times and today, the buck stops with me. I'm going to raise my voice louder so that people are made aware of these ********.
