Absa is a ****

Apparently my Absa Credit card's chip is damaged, I can't do card payments, withdraw and so forth. So I went to an Absa Branch to have the card fixed to my surprise I have to replace a card with a fee of R140, I am in shock for days and I don't understand why would i be charged for a damaged chip where as a Absa client we are advised to use the credit more for extra cash back. And for that matter other Banks don't charge their clients for card replacements done online. I think its time for me to move my banking to more cost efficient banks. This is crazy, I can't be paying R140 for card replacement sorry.
