ABSA is a ripoff
I am so angry with Absa and its poor customer service. I decided to change banks because of unothaurised debit orders on my ABSA cheque account. End of April I went inside the branch to close the account and even paid an amount of R450 which I didn't understand why. I phoned the call centre 2 days after and they confirmed that the account has been close. To my surprise today I receive a sms from absa telling my account is in arreas and I need to pay HOW whe it's supposed to be closed? I just phone their call center now and they say it's still active and that I need to go back to the branch and I owe R426. How is this possible?Absa is a ripoff they are just like a bitter ex.
