Absa is a joke, don't ever bank with them. Bunch of ******

I've tried reaching out via telephone, email and social media and none of Absa Banks employees seem to care. On 28 May, I sent Absa an email telling them that I'd like to release the funds/savings that was in my notice deposit account, obviously giving them the 15 days notice as per their process to release funds from a notice deposit account. I was called and told that the funds will be released on the 13 June. I need the savings as I needed to pay my car insurance. My insurance company obviously tried to debut and there were no funds available... Absa then proceeds to call me and send me an SMS saying that I owe them over R2000 in overdraft fees.... From what? Are you out of your mind or am I missing something? I am definitely NOT leaving this as is and will take this further. How do you guys do this to people earning an honest salary and this all during this covid pandemic?
