Absa is a huge disappointment
It’s almost a year now since I put in a death claim with ABSA they still haven’t paid a single cent. I’m beyond shocked and disgusted so glad I’d never bank with them.

15 Feb 2022, 10:48What irritates me the most is that I got a call that I should go to the branch because the funds were released. I got to the brunch only to be told there was nothing they could do for me, the lady at Montana branch (teller) did try to assist but they have no control over this issue. Absa has horrible systems and the people who call us don’t seem to know what they’re talking about. I am livid at this point and am not willing to take this nonsense any longer. We should take our complaints to the ombudsman.
