When a payment has gone off it does not immediately debit it, it hovers it around for several days, meaning you do not accurately know how much you have available. 3. They ignore instructions to close the account. When you try close it, they just debit an account fee and insist you pay it before you close it. Then they keep it open so they can continue charging fees. Close the account otherwise we have to escalate to Banking Ombudsman.
