Absa Internet Banking – Batch Payments Proof of Payment

I am extremely frustrated with Absa’s Internet Banking system for our school account. After authorizing a batch of payments, there is no option to print or download all the proof of payments together. Each proof has to be accessed and printed individually, which is unnecessarily time-consuming and inefficient for institutions that process large volumes of payments.

This is not only primitive compared to other banking platforms, but also costly. We pay high banking fees, yet the system lacks basic functionality that should support schools and businesses managing hundreds of transactions.

For compliance and audit purposes, we require consolidated proof of payments. Absa only provides a batch confirmation summary, which is not sufficient. To top it off you have to cut it into smaller pieces to separate the payments from one another. The lack of a bulk proof option forces administrators to waste hours on manual downloads, adding to operational costs.

As a long-standing client, I expect Absa to modernize its online banking platform and provide practical tools that match the fees charged. At the very least, a “print all proofs” function for batch payments should be implemented urgently.
