ABSA International services not working and poor customer service.

I had a bad experience being abroad. This was due to their system for international transactions. I wanted to pay benefitiaries only to find that ABSA system does not carter for my school account. I wrote coupler emails followed by calls

None of the ABSA people assisted me. All what I get was the assistant will get back to me and after a while the Sent another message that your problem have been solved. When I try to do my transaction it does not work. All what I asked them was to add my benificiary which is the school account to the other accounts so that I can do my transactions. I had to send the school account with the Iban number explaining thouroughly what I asked them to do for me. None of them assisted me. Everytime my school will send a reminder while I'm in the middle of the class that I must settle the account and this affected me cause I have resources but I can transfer the money. I wrote another email in August because my school already promised me that I cannot carryon with my studies if I don't settle my account. I also called them if I remember I called my branch in Mayfair and also South Dale because everytime when I call international the phone will be ringi g and no answer and the person who answered tge phone was pretending as if she does not hear me.

Something tgat made me to have doubts the two people that I spoke to from the two branches were able to hear me very well even when they gave me the International number to dial. When you dial the 0800 was a nightmare cause you will hold until the money is finished loaded on tge phone. Even though they have my email none of them acted on my case even their high authority. In November when my school informed me that I cannot carry on with them if my school funds are not settled that's when I write more email letting them know that I am taking the matter to hello peter. That's when they start sending email that I must give them a number where they can contact me and they never done that all the time. Their first call was in December after I tell them my account was blocked and I didn't have money to survive. That was the treatment that I got with ABSA. While my account is blocked now there's lots of monies that come out of my account and by then I can't do anything and I was writing exams and I try to be calm and ignore all these. Just for all these hassle while writing exams I got sick, now I need cash to pay for the Doctor and the cause is stress because the school also keep on sending messages and ABSA blocked my account and at the same time I informed them before I leave the country and I asked them if their system will work while I'm abroad when I do my transactions. They agreed and this was another story cause I couldn't even reverse a transaction none of the services that they mentioned on the website that are working were not working. It was a different story. I had to stop my class and fly back to South Africa
