Absa intentionally submitting incorrect information to credit bureau's

I have recently found out that a vehicle i paid off in july 2024 and received a letter for payment and closure of account has been left open with the credit bureau's and absa has been submitting information monthly that i am in arrears. This has not only adversely affected my ability to get new credit, it has affected my employability. I have reached out to absa and also emailed multiple times to resolve this, however no response or update has been given.
