ABSA insurance - Prepared to put kids lives on danger

<p>To Whom It May Concern</p> <p> </p> <p>My claim number is ********** . I have registered a claim with Absa home insurance on 20th July 2017. They came back to me on 21st July 2017 removed my cupboard, tiles and broke the plastering on my wall. The plumbing was done i wrote on the paperwork that was needed to go back to Absa plastering, tiling and cupboard needs to be replaced. Today the guys come in to replace my cupboard but could not do it because the plastering and tiling needed to be done first. The sink was loosened and the granite on my counter tops was not placed back steady. I called Absa spoke to a lady named Nicole Engelbret i told her about first the plastering and tiling and i have proof of what i sent back that day with the plumbers. Her response was sorry we didn't contact you to do the plastering and tiling. Thereafter when i told her i have 2 minor kids in the house and if they go under or near the counter if it falls on them who's responsibility is it. Her response was mine. Im shocked Absa can endanger the lives of 2 innocent kids. All this was recorded. I am totally disgusted when asked how soon this job can be completed because of the 2 minor kids. Thet could not give me an answer. But on the other can state they dont take responsibility if anything happens to my kids. Come on Absa is a LIFE OF A CHILD not important. Where is your priority? I am also going to the insurance ombudsman after this. </p>
