ABSA Insurance consultants

I've been with ABSA for many years but unfortunately had such bad service with our Insurance consultants in Alberton. Last year we've change my husbands bond cover from a yearly deduction to monthly deduction but they "failed" to inform us that the product change and it is now not a bond cover anymore but a life cover.Only a quotation was send. They did not inform us that a beneficiary now needs to be added to this policy. Unfortunately my husband passed away a month ago and when consulting with them regrading the process, they THEN only informed me of all the changes that happened when we switch from yearly to monthly as well as that there was no beneficiary added. How are you called a consultant and not updating and guiding your clients?? It's a battle for them to phone you back or answer e-mails!!! No service what so ever!! I now have to wait 6 - 12 months before my bond will be covered and in the meantime need to still pay the bond, with one income!!! All because consultants are useless!!
