ABSA Incompetency to Close Account

We are immigrating and gave notice to Absa on the 6th of December 2020 to close my son's bank account as its is an account which you need to give 32 days notice, else pay penalties. We went into the Absa Secunda branch on the 6th of January 2021 just to find out that Absa did not active the 32 day notice request....

It is now 2 days after visiting the Branch and Absa has not resolved this matter.
