ABSA imposed sanctions against Russia

Bought my flight ticket to Mos*** with my ABSA credit card and ABSA gladly approved the transaction. When I, however, tried to buy ABSA’s Bryte Travel Insurance, I was informed that ABSA imposed sanctions against Russia. This morning ABSA refused to sell me foreign currency because of their sanctions against Russia. The South African government, however, did not impose sanctions against Russia while cabinet minister Thandi Modise visited Mos*** last week and South Africa is very much part of BRICS! As far as I know, ABSA didn't impose sanctions against the US when they invaded, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libiya and bomber Serbia.
