Absa idirect is the worst

In July 2018, I bumped a ****** on the highway. My bumper was damaged. I informed my insurance at the time aka Absa idirect. They took weeks to confirm. I eventually ended up at Denys Edwardes in Port Elizabeth, expecting an Absa idirect assessor. Instead an employee of Denys Edwardes assessed my vehicle. Weeks after the assessment the job was approved. I was without a car for almost a month after being promised that the car would be ready in a week. I drive a 2012 Kia Rio, Denys Edwardes did a poor job with the fitment of the so called new bumper that they put on. I recently found out from a trusted panelbeater that it is not a new bumper as was promised to me but my old one that was fixed. They also replaced my drivers side fog lamp which fused after 2 months. The bumper is hanging by a thread. Absa idirect sent an assessor out to check the poor workmanship, but according to his report I damaged the vehicle, which is untrue. I also showed him how poorly Denys Edwardes fixed my fender. According to the assessor, I damaged it. Which is remarkable since I showed him how out of shape the fender is and if I damaged it then why is the paint still in tact. Absa idirect increased my premium by R400 and increased my excess from R2250 to R5000. Now I have to pay for my bumper to be properly connected out of my own pocket. ABSA idirect is the worst insurance that I have ever come across. To think I stayed loyal to them for almost 7 years. I am disgusted by ABSA IDIRECT AND DENYS EDWARDES IN PORT ELIZABETH.

Thank you ABSA idirect for fixing the problem. A special thanks to ABSA Idirect Assessor, Ms Beverley Welcome, whom went to the extreme to resolve the issue. I also want to thank Damas Bodyworks in Parow who gave me a courtesy car and went the extra mile to ensure that my car was properly fixed this time. I am humbled by ABSA idirect, Ms Beverley Welcome and Mr Marlon King from Damas Bodyworks for resolving the issue.
