Absa I direct worst insurance in RSA

Why does absa want personal information such as bank statement and cellphone report for a car accident claim. What does these things have to do with a car accident, it's just ridiculous. And they don't even inform me that my vehicle has been written off,but still request these docs. Which they want certified,how do I get to the police station with no vehicle. Why the invasion of privacy that has nothing to do with the accident. According to my knowledge as well insurance companies are suppose to get the Accident Report themselves but they wanted me to get the report myself which I had to pay R252. This is just outrageous after such stress am already going through of not having a vehicle. Absa I direct is just the worst I insurance in RSA I would not recommend it to anyone. I wonder when they are going to tell me my vehicle has been written off, when they decide to reject the claim.... Totally outraged.
