ABSA I am so shcoked

I am writing this complaint on behalf of my Mother who is 90 years. I am actually not sure who in ABSA can assist because clearly trying to call is a nightmare, and going to the Woodlands branch is even a bigger nightmare.

My mom purchased her place about 19 years ago, she has a small bond remaining that she wants to keep like that, when she purchased her place in a retirement village the estate agent at the said time, had included in the purchase that should the place be sold in the future she can get commission, long story short the body corporate of the retirement village went to court and won.

The court granted in favor of the owners of their homes, the problem is this my Mom wants this attached to her title deed, what a nightmare this is.

My husband took my mom to Woodlands about 3 weeks ago they spent over an hour there trying to get this resolved, firstly your staff cannot speak Afrikaans, secondly they tell her she must just settle her bond then she can get the title deed and problem solved, then they say she must get her title deed and go to an attorney who needs to draft a new title deed and the she will have an updated title deed. The one staff member even said no no the paper you have from the court is so old it has expired they need to give you a new one and your title deed is so old it has expired you need to get a new . Seriously a title deed has expired _ clearly your staff need to be trained and upskilled

They were not able to help my mom, they then while she was there called home loans division to assist and love and behold they also could not assist.

The staff at the branch then said no she must attach it to her will and sent her back to the lady that assisted with her Will this lady then said to my mom she cant as it does not belong on her Will, by the way the same lady told my mom as she has sold another property that she must please claim back all her insurance that she has paid for the property back from SARS are you been serious???

My problem is we still have the court document that needs to be added to the title deed which is in ABSA holding as my mom still owes on her property and no she does not want to settle the bond, can ABSA actually help or are we incorrect in saying this must be with the title deed, I would not know as ABSA are unable to assist very disappointing.

One last thing when my mom and husband were at ABSA Woodland she needed to do something at the ATM, the secirity guard was missing in action while they were approached by a male asking if they have an ID while trying to watch what my mother is doing, why do you not have security at the entrace of ABSA where the ATM's are and if you do why were they not there and my mom felt threatened, I am very disgusted in ABSA
