Absa homeloans increase balance unacceptably

During July 2025 I received an e- mail from Absa stating that my bond account balance on that day was R 7977. Hence my last payment on the account was on 10 October for R R2500. On the same day of 10 October I received communication from Absa homeloans that my balance is now R 10 500. How is this possible at all, this is the end of my bond account term and it can nor be that a cancellation fee could have been levied. Where do you get another R10 k from? Seeing that the balance according to yourselves (: Pravish from Absa) was R7977 in July? I find this totally unacceptable. Please advise if I shoul approach legal councell?
