ABSA Homeloan - Overcharging

I took a Absa Homeloan in 2018 because I got a new job offer within the Bank(ABSA) which required me to move closer to work and I was on a staff rate benefit of 7.5 %.In 2020 I got retrenched by the bank and my staff rate benefit was effective until March 2021. Last year I contacted the bank and made a payment arrangement of 50% since I was not working, my arrangement of 50% was approved and I defaulted on my arrangement two times.

I am are arrears of 17k and I am currently paying R5500 Monthly. I would like to find out why my interest cap is 8.45% ? because I am paying but I feel like my bond is stand still. Please investigate because this is a day light *******.
