ABSA HOMELAONS - NOT AS EASY AS THEY ADVERTISE

ABSA has been advertising to apply for homelaons and these will be approved within 24-48 hours. It's been +-12 weeks and no success to date. I am requesting my existing homeloan be opened for access again up to where it was (Approved for R1.6m), orginally approved. I have paid off +-50% to date and request access again to do some renovations to their home which they are financing. Alas, after numerous calls (LONG AND EXTEWNDED WAITING PERIODS WHERE THEY REQUEST YOU TO BE PATIENT, your call will be answered) If you are lucky. Then, once you reach someone, you are sent from Port to Starboard, explaining every time the same story, promises that they will get back to you, etc. etc. At one time they indicated that there was a glitch in the system (system fault) and my old account was blocked because (ref 562) of +-R8k outstanding. I paid it, phoned again, and again and I eventually got hold of some manager whom was also full of promises. If I did not call him, I would still be waiting. Persons whom tried assisting are 1. Nkosinathi. 2. Vulindlela, 3. Victory, 4. Nonthando, 5. Donald, 6. Thabelo and finally 6. Lwazi (manager). I eventually gave up and will be moving my loan from ASBA to another, more friendly bank.
