ABSA Home Owner Comprehensive Insurance - Poor

Please note to all Aerorand residents in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. ABSA comprehensive home insurance will not accept claims to your building that has resulted from nearby blasting that is a well known phenomena in Middelburg. Instead, their assessor claims that the numerous cracks on my walls, cracked roof trusses and ceiling finishings are all due to the natural movement of soil. I haven't seen this report myself however the ABSA representative told me this nonsense over the phone. Do the right thing now and call your broker to ensure coverage. As for me, I am happy to accept quotes from any proper insurance companies out there that are happy to accept my money on a monthly basis. Unfortunately the peanuts that I pay (R1000) is too little for this company.
