absa home loans insurance shocking, ****py, frustrating; disappointing service

Absa home loans insurance. What a HUGE frustrating, disappointing experience. A car drove into our wall and left a huge gaping hole in our wall, leaving my family exposed and vulnerable. Jumped through all the hoops to register the claim. The assessor came out and since then crickets from absa despite being told the claim was approved by one of the consultants - the claims department was apparently sitting on our claim, for just ish and giggles I've called in countless times to find out about progress - i've spoken to Steven, Marikie, Natasha; Refilwe, Goitsemang - and the last 2 even promised to either call or email the feedback.......in true absa home loans insruance style - crickets. I've sent countless emails only to get those generic automated responses that the query has been allocated to a consultant who'll get back to me with feedback. Mind you all the groundwork has been done - all they have to do is allocate the job to a contractor to fix the wall. Once again consultants from HOC claims; Vonani and Nhenhu Nozula allocated the query are just sitting on the query - 3 weeks later. Not 1 email or phone call to give an update. This ****py treatment is after more than 15 years of diligently paying my premiums and on time. Shocking, ****py, disappointing service!!
