ABSA HOME LOAN - USELESS

Hi,

********** 710 - Absa Home Loan

Today I requested my credit report transunion to find out ABSA Home Loan has gone is my record and put me on 30 days account on arrears.

I called Absa home loan and spoke to Daisy Zondo, requesting information on why I’m on arrears when I’m paying R300 more than my installment, she advises me that now my installment is up by R600 due to interest rates, and i have not been paying the rest of the R353. I then asked her where is the notification of installments going up as I never received it, and why was I not call if my account is in arrears. Daisy tells me they have been trying to call me on my old number and they were unsuccessful. I explain to her I changed jobs and had to leave the company phone. I have a new number, and this number is on the Absa systems as I get verifications for adding beneficiaries and buying airtime. So what she is saying does not make sense. Secondly why have I not been notified for being put on Transunion as per NCR requirement? She tells me there is nothing she can do. Can you believe that, there is nothing she can do.

I then ask for an escalation, the supervisor Roche Straws come to the phone, with no supervisory s****s. I had to tell him what he needs to do, get the information on when these letter were sent to me, and the letter telling me I’m being put on Transunion, and also requested an escalation as he was just ***********, there is no reference number given to me, except to quote my home account number and the date and time I called. He also said there is nothing he can do.

I don’t understand how can I be put on credit bureau without my knowledge, secondly how can Absa say they don’t have my contact details, when they have my cell phone number, mobile number and my address.

I have been paying my account ahead by R300 every month, now I’m on credit bureau - Someone call me

Regards,

Nonkululeko Abavana

Hi Vanessa

Any update on my request?

Please advise what is the plan going forward.

I have changed my debit order from R7000 to R7400 to accomodate the new amount I now have to pay.

Regards,

Nonkululeko

Hi

Since posting this request I have had no call, update or email from Absa.

No way forward, so yet again I need to pound at Absa's door.
