Absa Home Loan Review Process

Me and my wife recently apply for a home loan. The amount that we app**** for was R790 000. Absa did the credit check and all the ases*****ts. After that they inform us that we only qualify for R590 000. Upon asking if they took the deposit into consideration, they review it again and declined it due to the fact that my business is not older then 2 years. Why didn't they pic it up in the first place and gave us false hope. That almost ruined our marriage.
