ABSA Home Insurance ****

I bought the house 2 years ago with a loan from ABSA and was forced to take the insurance with them and was told I can change to someone else at anytime. They sent an assessor to look at the house before approving the loan. I then had a problem with the garage roof last year (2015) and phoned ABSA to send out an assessor. The assessor came out and they rejected to claim due to building fault on the garage roof and I ended up paying for the repairs out of my own pocket.<br> <br> Now have contacted Absa again to register a claim on 22-March because of a leaking roof. The assessor phoned me on 23-March and told me they can only come out a month later. I told them I have leaking roof and I need someone sooner to prevent additional damages if it rains again and can't wait a month. They told me they will inform Absa so they can send out someone sooner. I only received a call back from ABSA yesterday 29-March; already a week later and the claim was only then sent to another assessor. Until now I still have not heard from the assessor and currently I have been holding 20mins on the *** number.
