Absa Home Insurance Pathetic Service Delivery. A sham

I logged a call with Absa Home Insurance after my geyser became faulty and started tripping the electricity. They promptly dispatched a contractor to replace the geyser and i paid excess of R800. Because this geyser is located in the guest bathroom, it was not in use for a week after replacement, when i received guests over, there was a complaint that the water coming out the shower was shooting out in three main jets of water and not evenly distributed amongst the shower pinholes, this made it nearly impossible to use the shower. I called the contractor who then told me that he cant attend to me as he has a lot of work and does not know when he can attend to me. He advised i take the shower head off and check for sand. Upon touching the shower head, at the slightest wiggle/turn the whole shower head and pipe detached from the wall. I went around to the outlet pipe at the back of the house and saw the most grotesque installtion of piping iver ever seen. My wall was literally knocked down to accomodate two unsighlty pipes without my consent. I wonder why the contractor did not connect to the existing outlet pipe. I took pictures, engaged the contractor but no rectification was forthcoming. I was actually scolded and then told to escalate to Absa. Pathetic service this. I am going to move my insurance from you and the home loan that comes with it. I want my walls fixed too. My escalation to your claims department 4 days ago has not been attended to. ive sent 2 emails requesting feedback to no avail

Still no feedback. Promised feedback by the 6th of August. Now i get an email saying feedback due by the 10th. Whats next? The 20th? Meanwhile im still inconvenienced and Absa has an expectation for premiums to be maintained. Whats the benefit here? Pull up your socks. This is not customer service
