ABSA Home Insurance Does Not Cover Their Customers

ABSA Insurance will not cover you. I have lived on my property for 17 years and had an issue with my DV electricity board x3 weeks ago which required me to get electricians in after hours to fix. Whole sections had to be replaced, there was no power surge. I registered the claim the next morning, and after many attempts and failure to get back to me, with many phone calls and e mails sent ABSA have rejected my claim. This is why we have insurance, to protect us in a case such as this, it was not through any doing on my part that this happened. It is disgusting. From Thango Bomela the consultant who never returned my calls to their processors, just unacceptable. I will be cancelling my insurance and moving my bond, I am not covered it seems even though they take my money every month. Very unhappy, and everybody should be made aware.
