ABSA HOME INSURANCE

We had a huge storm on 13 January 2022 and our borehole was struck by lightning.. A claim was put in with Absa Home Insurance and with no response from them.. the emails that was sent was deleted without reading and the phone does not work.. Although the assessor did send a report to them on the 1 February 2022 and also that did not work. We are still having problems to pump water on the plot. this is life necessity. They are a poor company to deal with .. We also had a lightning pole that was struck and broken and ABSA denied also that claim.. This is all thatch roofs and will not insure without a pole.. but they are not prepared to cover the insurance. Regards Evert and Maggie Potgieter
