ABSA holding on to money I need to feed my family

When I got into a bit of financial problems I fell behind on my card payments. As a result ABSA put a hold on all my accounts without telling me. Once I had the money I settled the arrears on the account. Even after settling the arrears I kept on paying money into that account not knowing that there is a hold on that account. When I needed the money and tried transferring it out I saw the error saying there is a hold on the account and I cannot transfer it. When I asked a consultant to help me lift the hold as I desperately need the funds I was told that the account will never be activated again so I will never be able to use it again. So why then allow money to be paid into that account? And on top of that still charge me for monthly account fees on an account I will never be able to use again. It has now been more than a month and I have spoken to sever people and emailed several people as they send me all over the place to get my money paid out and I still don't have my money. There is no sense of urgency and sometimes not even the courtesy of a response and they just do not care that this is money I need to provide for my family.
