ABSA harassing clients

Today I received an e-mail, on an ABSA letterhead, with threats regarding my business account's FICA status, i.e. if I don't submit the "required documents" within 30 days, then they will freeze my account! Typically, they were so busy threatening me that they forgot to mention which documents they require. This is coming from the same bank that failed to verify my identity, a week ago, by asking me questions about my life! How do I know whether the e-mail is legitimate or whether it is a fishing expedition? Later they called me and expected me to trust them (that the person who called is from the bank). Then they want me to make phone calls etc. to confirm their credentials. This is typical ABSA nonsense. I pay exorbitant bank charges to be shunted around by them. From being the best bank in SA, a few years ago, to challenging VBS bank for the bottom spot. Do what we pay you for and stop harassing the few clients you have left!
