ABSA hangs up cause I refused their offer
Just got a phone call from a lady at 10:13 from Johannesburg - ***.

She explained that I'm not currently subscribed to Absa Rewards and what the benefits were. I was under the impression she is offering it to me for free - therefore I was interested. After I heard it's a monthly subscription of R22, I declined as I am already looking at joining one of their main competitors therefore not interested in paying extra fees. After I mentioned this she puts the phone down in my ear.

It brings the question to mind : If I'm willing to spend money with Absa; they have time for their clients, but if you're not interested you're deemed as a waste of time and immediately disregarded. In this day and age we have to value our current clients as much as our potential clients.

I don't need a call to explain what happened - I'm just assisting you in avoiding this situation with the remaining clients you have.
