Absa gave access a civilian access to my account

A month or two ago, I found out someone was fun access into my account. Upon hearing this, I went to Absa, Benmore branch and they said they can't help without my ID, funny since they did give access without to someone else. No notes or flags, despite my request that they do so since I am far from home where my ID is.

I had an expectation that since this is a serious issue if security, they would be keen to look I to a client's issue ajd follow up, NOTHING.

To date, not even a single call or mail, even from my own banker whom I reached out to first to ask what to do. Instead, I've been getting calls asking me to deposit money into the accounts and foass promises to look into what happened or escalate it. I made a conscious decision to never put a single cent in that account until they act like I matter as a customer.

The last straw was yesterday, a lady by the name Dina called me and in essence said her job is to collect and since I'm not going to deposit cash, we must just close the account. Instead of doing right by me, she preferred that we just close the account. I left Nedbank for such things, came to ABSA and in experiencing worse than what Nedbank did.

I'm very disappointed, I know banks rw about money, but I never reckoned they put that above the security of their clients.
