ABSA GANGSTER CHRONICLES

Absa, billing me for debit orders that you put through multiple times on tbe same day is uncool. Running a system of ext on debit orders to make more money is the same as behaving like the mafia. ****s like these are why big business are not longer trusted. Please sort this out.

Dear Customer

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I tried to make contact with you telephonically but it went on voice mail. Kindly advice the type of debit orders that we need to address, amounts and dates they went through your account for us to investigate further.

Kind regards

Dear Nthabiseng....I found this further to my query that you clearly wanted to ignore, with regards to fees since December at ABSA...’The only real relief is on the penalty charged for a declined debit order due to insufficient funds. These used to be charged at R50 for the first three per year with the fee jumping to R150 thereafter. Now, they are flat-rated at R50 each on the Gold Value Bundle and Premium Banking accounts, while on the lower-end Flexi Account, these have been dropped to just R8.50. A declined transaction at any ATM or point-of-sale now attracts a R6 charge on all mid-market accounts, from R5.50 in 2017.’ Perhaps now you can look into my query and sort it out as ABSA have clearly been overcharging me since December 2017.
