Absa Free Movie Tickets

<p>I opened savings accounts for both my children several months ago. With the account, you get various benefits such as a free movie ticket if you maintain a certain account balance or make a number of purchases through the account.</p> <p>Trying to get these benefits is truly frustrating. Firstly, you cannot promise a young person a benefit, and when the strive to achieve the goal, you do not keep your end of the bargain.</p> <p>After endless phone calls and visits to the Kolonnade branch, we received a single SMS for one ticket. After trying more than 5 times through the automated service, we managed to get a unique numer to enter at the cinema. Then, when you try to purchase the ticket with the voucher, the system responds with "Invalid Voucher". Not even the Ster Kinekor manager could assist. His response was to contact SK's IT department.</p> <p>More phone calls to the Kolonnade branch manager bore no fruit. A support ticket was logged by the branch manager - also with no success.</p> <p>Now Absa, how can you advertise this benefit and not deliver on your promises? Hopefully you will not lose this future generation of banking clients...</p> <p> </p>
