ABSA *****

28 August 2020 I received notification that ABSA were no longer going to send SMS notifications when someone signs onto their ABSA banking app nor when a new Beneficiary is added. The notifications will instead be sent in-App. So how does a client now know if an unauthorized entity has signed onto your App if you are not logged on yourself to view these in-App notificationd? If the alerts are meant to be sent to a cellphone without signing on: then I am not receiving those system alerts. This in my view poses a huge risk for ***** and a client will only detect activity by SMS if a transaction is effected and by then it is too late. Please ABSA advise on your latest reasoning.
