Absa *****!

For the 2nd time in 1 year my parents ABSA bank accounts have been hacked. While we were traveling overseas someone hacked my mothers account, changed her cellphone number linked to the account, opened a new savings account in her name and transferred money from her Money Market account to the newly opened Savings account. They then stole roughly R40k through cashsend transactions...all within a week. And ABSA ***** didn’t even pick it up. This on an account that almost never gets used!! We reported this to ABSA just to hear that we need to be patient, the investigation can take 3 months!! Not good enough Absa!! At the same time another R20k was ****** from my dads account...same cellphone number used on my moms account and dads account. Even after the cellphone number in question was reported to Absa as a ********** number, the very next day and 4 days thereafter more money was ****** from my mothers account. How can someone with a reported ***** email number have an active account and make ********** transactions Absa!!

We live in Oudtshoorn. Why are there so many Absa ********** activities happening in this town! Within the past year, my parents and 2 of our neighboring farms have lost a total of R370k through Absa *****!! This is insane and we demand some answers! This must be an inside job!!
