ABSA Flexi Funeral Plan

ABSA Flexi Funeral Plan Policy Holders beware when trying to claim, good luck to you. The problem I am having to try claim from my late sister's funeral policy. I have submitted commissioner of oath documents and forms for the following: claim, policy copy, diseased ID, deceased will nominating me as beneficiary & executor, death certificate, funeral invoice, my ID, Fica and my bank account confirmation. ABSA says I have to get Executorship from the High Court were I would have to hire and pay a lawyer to do which can take up to 14 weeks and cost more than the R10000 funeral claim. This is not worth it. In the meantime I had pay for my sisters funeral at my own expense which far in excess of the funeral policy.
