ABSA failed to act on the extra COVID19 risk forced on the elderly at Waverley and BenSwartStreet brances reported 2 weeks ago

More than 2 weeks ago I again complained about ABSA risking the lives of the elderly with poor management, this time at Waverley and BenSwartStreet brances:The bank machines advertise that cheques can be deposited there but the function is blocked; So we repeatedly log in on un-sanitized keys only to find it was unnecessary,we have to stand in queue inside the bank,AGAIN exposed to Covid19. Because big money is at stake, we ALREADY went inside to finish the transaction knowing ABSA wont act fast. However, the risk remains for OTHER elderly using cheques, and ABSA has NOT responded that something was done about those machines after two weeks. I rep**** to the email and automated replies restating my complaint because you do not react to the actual problem or you do not read properly, but nothing happens. This complaint will stand UNTIL ABSA RESOLVES this deadly risk forced on the elderly. Your nothing-doing phonecalls mean NOTHING, ONLY respond in WRITING to the address provided which I repeat: janmconradie at gmail dot com I will NOT provide private particulars because the transaction is over, you must look at those BANK MACHINES,not delve into my private particulars.

Kindly again read my complaint, it is actually about ABSA responding like that to the complaint instead of going to check those banking machines. You have just done exactly the same again without doing anything. I rep**** to the email that I will NOT provide my ID by email to anyone, and a Bank should know better than to ask that. It is the Bank who warns us not to do it!

Absa sent me a "feedback" email about this harmful case: IT WAS BLANK. The utter collapse of ability and competence at some of these organizations astounds me.

This is now week number 4 and ABSA has spent many expensive hours sending replies like above that mean absolutely nothing without addressing the issue. This is why bank charges are so unaffordable: There are a plethora of highly paid managers who go through these automated rote-learned routines without real knowledge instead of, like years ago, just one who actually acts s****fully and then it is over. How is recruitment done to end up so expensively ineffective?
