ABSA EQUITIES ARE USELESS AND TOTALLY UNRESPONSIVE - CUSTOMERS BEWARE
I am an existing ABSA customer and decided to engage with ABSA equities to open a share trading account with a view to transfer my current portfolio of a few million rands to the ABSA account. I have to date had several very discouraging interactions with the ABSA team, have requested on a number of occassions for someone to contact me including the Head of Equities and to date have just not heard a thing. I have reference number coming out of my ears but simply no response from ABSA and to be honest they appear to simply not care! Useless in the extreme!

14 Dec 2021, 14:05Hi Basani. No worries I thankfully managed to cancel the trading account and stick with a company that delivers what is says it will. Absa are simply not up to offering these kinds of services and when I finally got a call from the Trading division the arrogance was astounding.
