ABSA employees putting customer in ITC
I took a loan with Absa last year September for r40 000.00, I had to pay back about r1500.00 or so every month via the DEBIT order it did go thru from September 2017 to April 2018 when it was deleted by their employee. I was never called on the first month or smsed to say that the account is out standing no statements as their claim that they emailed to me, I only got the call this month from their collection telling me. That I last paid the account in April 2018 I asked them about the debit order they tell me it was cancelled in one of their branches. I don't have access for the ABSA systems so who ever that cancelled was employed by them and trusted him / her that they are qualified to work on my account. So they say im liable for months missed payments I did not go on their system and cancelled it im no longer liable as after I explained to Collection team person I was called by the branch manager regarding that after a week or so. Then last week I was called by the lawyers telling me that my account is handed over " my itc status affected by them " to them because of that im no longer liable for it. The attitude I got from them meaning their employee is write with what he / she did , first they must deal with their employee as I requested the debit order date change from 28 to 31 or the end of the month so he / she decided to cancel for the way im being treated im no longer liable .
