absa don't have good service, no communication, to get service from absa you must go pillar to post and they don't give their clients information I have use absa from my high school age I never use any bank but the service I get from absa is very very
It is with great disappointment to write about ABSA bank. I have a bond loan with ABSA since 2014 and account is up to date. Unfortunately Jan 2021 I was retrenched amd informwd ABSA ,for the to advise on options available to me ,to keep the bond active.I thought my bond had a home credit policy ,which would cover me for the 6 months, I was informed then that I didnt have such and would have to pay in full despite my situation.
I kept paying using the monies received after retrenchment and unfortunately it could cover only until Jan 2022 Im still not employed. I therefore went back to ABSA to request for 6 month grace period and it was granted with 50% payment every month,we agreed they will deduct from my Flexi account, which had R14600 then.
To my surprise 28 February 2022,I went back to ABSA just to see if all is still in order and also to ask for my Flexi account and Home loan statement ,that ABSA deducted the intial bond payment of R3600.
It is disappointing qnd frustrating that such a big institution is not truthful qnd cannot be trusted, with communication whatsoever.I still have to spend the money I dont have to visit he branch (which doesnt help much)everytime I have an issue with my account.
I spoke to about 4 people within ABSA call centre (Busani Mdlalose/Theo/Rhiana/Mosa Ntiea)regarding this and they all had to escalate to "Manager" and 2 days later I haven't received any feedback or update.
Is this how customers are treated by ABSA,they need them the most?
I'm reporting this awful service with the Ombudsman if I dont get any feedback within 1 day, with regards to the agreement I had with ABSA, which they didnt stick to.
