Absa doesn't reward

I opened an account in 1975. Since then I've been a loyal customer and now have 4 accounts with Absa. In 2000 when I opened my business, the savings account was converted to a business account with accompanying hike in bank fees. I'm trying to get this account converted back to a private account, reason being historic and the fact that I remember the account number. All my debit orders and internet banking are through this account. Spoke to a lady from Absa Business WC who was very professional and after speaking to the support team informed me the only way was to close this account and open another. After 45 years? Really? There's no desire to meet me halfway, there's no will to assist. I was told her manager would phone me probably later the day which of course, didn't happen. After 45 years I am now moving my accounts elsewhere - other banks offer lower fees and I am hoping, better service. Poor, Absa, Poor!!!!
