ABSA Does not Care

As the executor of my aunt's estate I have been requesting archived bank statement from ABSA. From numerous email requests and personal branch visits over and over for the same information since November 2025 (4/11/25, 20/1/26, 2/2/26, 23/2/26, 17/3/26, 19/3/26, 14/4/26) I have nothing to show five months later. Multiple visits to Die Boord Branch, Stellenbosch only resulted in empty promises. Emails to "***ca" are left unanswered. No one at ABSA is willing to take ownership, despite the red cardboard notices on the counters stating that ABSA is willing to go the extra mile for its clients. My aunt has been an TRUSTBANK/ABSA client for all her life since the 1970's.
