Absa does not care about customers needs

I have noticed that Absa bank is the only bank with a R1000 limit on their prepaid limit for internet banking. With the latest price hikes on electricity, I have to top up up to 3 times a month, and on each top up I have to pay a surcharge where other banks have a limmit of R3000. This is really an inconvenience and Absa is costing me more money. When I called customer care regarding this issue, I was told that that was their limit and I can complain about it but they won't change it. So here is my complaint and I guess it's time to move to a bank who really cares about their customer's needs.

So I just received a reply from Absa saying that due to ***** they will stay on the R1000 limit and the case is now closed. This means that I have to go to another bank where they have other, more secure ways to prevent ***** rather than to inconveniently limit the customer's daily allowance. Once again Standard bank allow R3000 per day for prepaid with no claims of *****.

Dear Mr. Vollenstee.

Thank you for your response.

Please be advised that the Absa  Bank will be looking at increasing the limit in the future, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you in this regard.
