ABSA dishonourable ****** robbing customers with excessive bank charges

ABSA charged me for two R150 unpaid debit order bank fees for direct debits that should not have come out of my account. ABSA charge a whopping R150 for any failed direct debits. ABSA then debited my monthly banking fee R230 and took another R312.50 ADMIN CHARGE without any courtesy notice. I called ABSA and advised all these charges will cause my FNB home loan to be unpaid as they are draining my account and I will incur another R150 unpaid debit order bank fee. They said that's correct as they have taken their penalty fees and they will charge another R150 due to them deducting all these fees. I had to quickly rush to the bank to deposit money to prevent them taking any more R150 penalities. So far this month for a very basic ABSA cheque account I have been charged R312.50 ADMIN Charges, R34.50 transaction charges, R230 monthly account fee totalling a whopping R577 and they still want more. Do not bank with ABSA, they are dishounrable ****** who rob their customers with excessive bank charges. Do not bank with ABSA if you value your money. Stay away from ABSA Bank!
