ABSA depriving people of their right to exist in SA

I am a foreign citizen who is currently awaiting the outcome of my application for permanent residency. I am without a valid Visa at the moment, due to no fault of my own. I have a savings account and an investment with ABSA which I wish to close, since they block my accounts every second month (due to my invalid Visa), and I have opened a non-resident account with another bank which won't be blocked. But ABSA is refusing to unfreeze my accounts and release my funds. Today it is 8 weeks (!) in which I have been unable to access my money. I really think this borders on a violation of human rights - they are denying me my only means of existence, and I am all alone in SA, no family over here. I cannot even begin to describe how stressful and frustrating my situation is. The High Court of the Western Cape has appointed me to be a sworn translator, and I am the only one in the country in my language combination. As such, I work from home, but I cannot even do the work I have been appointed to do, because I can't pay my wifi! I am totally and utterly disgusted with ABSA's lack of service - they are no better than *******, depriving me of my livelihood. And they severely discriminate against foreigners.
