Absa deliberately wants your business to fail.
This is the 2nd time in the space of a 6 months that we experience the same problem. At this point I no longer think it is the incompetence of Absa staff but rather a deliberate plot by Absa for SMME's to not succeed.
The is absolutely no need for businesses to have "private bankers" because they cause more harm than good. How do you say to a client you are in a meeting and will call them back, but never do. The client then also has to call you multiple times and still no communication? Unfortunately Absa has set us p in such a way that we need to interact with 'private bankers" to perform certain functions, functions that can make or break our businesses. But what do we do when bankers do not want to engage with us.
And i can understand if they feel overworked or being asked to handle too many clients at once. However my business should not be suffering because of this.
I moved away from our first banker because of this in February because her behavior and actions were affecting the business negatively, now 5 months later we find ourselves in the same situation with the second banker.
Unfortunately the trend is clear and I don't think I want to stick around for the 3rd one to do the same. We simply cannot be discussing communication issues at this level.
Absa has failed our business dismally.
