ABSA Deceased Estate Trusts.

My father trusted Absa Bank with his Estate, he passed away in May 2021. After completing and sending all documentation we have recieved correspondence twice. The most recent was a promise to communicate progress by the 30 September, needless to say, nothing has been recieved. I have sent weekly emails requesting progress, but have recieved nothing. My father, who was astute with his finances, would never have trusted his legacy with ABSA had he known this. It is shocking that we are treated this way. His wife is the sole beneficiary and cannot make any decisions about her future as she feels she is being held ransom by ABSA. No calls, emails, or any correspondence is forth coming. I am at my wits end trying to get anyone to communicate with now, let alone having to take care of her needs in the future. Shocking, shocking, shocking that people in distress can me treated with such contempt.
